USCIS New Orleans District Office Moves Back To Downtown New Orleans

Ever since Hurricane Katrina drowned the USCIS office located in downtown New Orleans, the USCIS New Orleans District office has been located in Metaire, LA, a suburb of New Orleans. Finally, the office is returning to Downtown New Orleans. Effective October 3, 2014, the new USCIS District Office will be located at 1250 Poydras Street, 18th Floor, New Orleans, LA 70113. The new office will be closed October 3-7 and will resume Biometric and Infopass appointments beginning October 8. Interviews will resume October 14. Be prepared for a parking nightmare. The closest free parking is at the old office location at the Main Post Office, 234 Loyola Avenue.
