Homeland Security announced today the extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for eligible nationals of Nicaragua and Honduras for an additional 18 months effective January 6, 2015 through July 5, 2016. Current TPS beneficiaries wishing to extend their TPS status can do so during the 60 day re-registration period beginning October 16, 2014 and ending December 15, 2014.
