Mr. Burnett Guest Speaker on WWL Radio Spud McConnell show

Mr. Burnett was invited by WWL radio talk show Spud McConnell on December 10 to speak on the current state of pending immigration reform. Though many had expected the House of Representative to take up the immigration reform bill entitled Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act which was passed by the Senate last June, the Republican majority in the House blocked this effort and vowed to pass piecemeal immigration reform next year. Until then we should all urge our congressmen to commit to meaningful immigration reform in 2014.
